Ranch Camp
Ages 10-16

Session 4 & 5: Ranch Camp - Co-ed
Ranch Camp at Circle K is unlike any other camp! Ranchers will experience the joy and responsibility of having their own horse through daily activities such as: grooming, tacking, horseback riding lessons and trail rides. Ranchers will spend most of their week in the saddle, but will also have time to enjoy archery, canoeing, swimming, the rock climbing wall, arts and crafts and much more! All Ranchers will stay at Elk Lodge, where they can see the horses from their bunks. Ranchers will be placed in riding classes based on an assessment of their current riding skills. Both English and Western styles are offered and all riding levels are welcome.
Ranch Adventures (Co-ed)
Ages 10-13
Sessions: 5A (Sun-Wed) & 5B (Wed-Sat)

Experience a compact, yet exciting ranch week with our Ranch Adventures program! Spend 3 nights and 4 days horseback riding all over Camp Kerns scenic trails, while still enjoying traditional camp activities like rock climbing walls, hiking, archery, and swimming. Ranch Adventure campers will be staying in Conestoga Wagons and cooking over the fire, and enjoying campfires underneath the stars. You won't want to miss this adventure!
Ranger's Apprentice

Immerse yourself in the world of Ranger's Apprentice! This week is fully-themed, and you will be instructed on horseback riding, trail riding, archery, tracking, survival skills, stelth and missions throughout the week.
Trail Wranglers
Ages 12-16

Campers MUST be intermediate to advanced riders!
Saddle up Cowboys and Cowgirls! Trail Wranglers is the perfect week for those Ranchers who LOVE to trail ride! The week will include trail riding and camping out with the horses on and off Camp Kern property. Wranglers will learn to cook over a fire, outdoor living skills, horsemanship, and horseback riding skills.
*Session 3 is a shortened session (July 5-10)
Advanced Ranch Camp
Ages 12-16
Session 4 (Co-ed)

This program is for advanced riders only.
This challenging ranch week is for the more experienced rider. Campers will have advanced lessons in walk, trot, canter, and jumping. As well as more in-depth lessons on barn management, horse health, and jump course design. Ranchers will build on their knowledge and expand their horizons! Along with adventures in the saddle, Ranchers will experience the same great camp activities such as swimming, rock climbing walls, arts and crafts, and the BIG game.

This Ranch Day Camp will teach beginning Ranchers the basics of horse care and horseback riding. Daily activities will include: safety around horses, grooming, tacking, leading horses, and horseback riding. Ranchers will have daily riding lessons along with guided trails! Ranchers will learn respect and responsibility through hands on care while learning about all aspects of horses. Other activities include swimming, rock climbing walls, and arts and crafts. Lunch and snack are included in each fun filled day!
