Camp Nurse
Must be at least 21 years of age and a registered nurse

Oversees the health and safety of campers and staff.  Responsible for the daily operation of Camp Kern’s health center.  Responsible for all medical recordings and distributions.  Is on call 24 hours during camp sessions. Lives in personal apartment, attached to the back of the health center.  Must have a “Kids First” vision and place the camper’s safety and camp experience first.  Must encourage a fun, positive, and safe environment within the parameters of the YMCA mission.  Relates and works well with kids ages 5-16. 

Weekly wage: ranges from $350-500 (depending on experience and certifications) plus room and board
