Kern Quest (Completely New!!)

| The Kern Quest program is designed for teens who love adventure. Kern Quest combines the traditions of Camp Kern with all the high adventure elements teens love. The week will include Climbing, Rappelling, Vertical maze, Double Zip, Tango Tower, High Ropes, an overnight canoe trip, and a ride on the thrilling Mineshaft. This program is designed for teens who love an adventure! |
Ultimate Survivor
Ages 11-14

| Back by popular demand! Challenge yourself to a week of living in the outdoors while competing with and against friends. Living quarters will be rustic, challenges will be difficult and the opportunities to build character and meet new friends will be endless! At the end of each session we’ll name Kern’s Ultimate Character Survivor, who will receive a free week of camp in 2008. |
Leaders in Training (LIT)
Ages 14-15 |

| The LIT program fosters and develops group dynamics, problem solving, and the camping skills we look for in future staff members. While living in a rustic setting, campers participate in the main camp activities and programs while focusing on their leadership skills and program development. This training is a stepping stone for older campers who are interested in transitioning into future camp leaders, but still enjoy the magic of being a camper. |
