Outside of our regular programming, Camp hosts numerous one-off events each year. Some are open to the public, some to alumni, some are just for fun, while others aim to raise funds for our Annual Campaign, so scroll through the details below and decide which event you'd like to get invovled in! Golf Outing
When: 1pm, June 3rd, 2019

Who: Anyone
Enjoy a round of golf while supporting a great cause....Camp Kern! Hosted on the first Monday of June, our Annual Golf Outing Honoring Bob Barr is a great way to give back to your camp by rounding up a foursome, donating a raffle item or sponsoring a hole.
Arctic Dash
When: 10am, December 7th, 2019
Cost: $65
Who: Anyone
Challenge yourself and your friends or family to a 5k mud obstacle course through the grounds of Camp Kern. All proceeds go towards sending kids to camp next summer, and the 19 obstacales will push you to your limit. With five years experience of organizing this event, we know how to make the whole process a breeze, while delivering on a high quality mud obstacle run. Arctic Dash...are you tough enough?!
Strawberries & Ice Cream
When: 6pm, June 13th, 2019
Cost: Free
Who: Camp Alumni
Whether you were a former camper, counselor, staff member, family camper or guest of Camp Kern, we would love to see you at our annual alumni event, where we update you on all things Kern, introduce the new summer camp staff and reminisce about all the life-changing experiences we've had at our second home.
Pre-Thanksgiving Feast
When: 6pm, November 24th, 2019
Cost: Free
Who: Camp Alumni
The weekend before Thanksgiving can be a stressful time, so take a load off with our laid back Pre-Thanksgiving Feast. The Singerman Lodge will be filled with the aroma of the turkey and pumpkin pie, and we would love to share our feast with you and your family.
Zipping From Zombies
When: October 11th and 12th, 6pm-10pm 2019
Cost: $55
Who: Anyone
Zip from Zombies through five moonlit ziplines! Enjoy a fright filled bus ride, a short haunted hike, then try and escape the zombies across five of our shorter zip lines. Tours begin at 6:30pm with reservations required. Click below to find availability and make your reservation. Women's Wellness Weekend
