At YMCA Camp Kern, everything we do is driven by purpose. As a proud part of the YMCA of Greater Dayton and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our foundation is built on Christian principles and a passion for strengthening community.

We believe that life-changing growth happens when people disconnect from the noise of daily life and connect with nature, each other, and themselves. Our camp is a space where kids, families, and groups come to challenge themselves, build confidence, and create lasting bonds.
Our Vision
Our guest-first philosophy guides every decision we make. Safety is always the top priority—but equally important is ensuring every camper, parent, team, or company group feels welcomed, supported, and valued.
Whether it’s pushing personal limits on a ropes course, making a lifelong friend around a campfire, or simply taking a moment to breathe under the trees, every guest leaves with something meaningful.
