Custom Corporate Retreats That Build Better Teams
YMCA Camp Kern delivers professional development experiences that go beyond the basics—boosting leadership, communication, and team connection through tailored programs led by expert facilitators.

Meeting Facilitation & Story Boarding
Spark creativity and solve real problems with Story Boarding, an innovation technique first introduced by Walt Disney. Our trained facilitators lead your team through guided discussions and problem-solving exercises in rooms specially designed for collaboration. Ideal for strategy sessions, vision casting, and project kickoffs.

Indoor Team Challenges & Mobile Team Development
We bring the experience to you—or you come to us. This flexible program energizes teams through hands-on activities focused on collaboration, communication, and creative thinking. Perfect for groups with limited time or looking for an indoor alternative.

Low Ropes Course
Face fun, low-risk challenges designed to promote problem-solving, leadership, and team cohesion. Sessions include icebreakers, classic and custom-designed low elements, and expert facilitation to bring out your team’s best.

High Adventure Programs
Push your team beyond comfort zones with high ropes elements, including our Tango Tower and other elevated challenges. Start on the ground with confidence-building initiatives and end the day achieving what once seemed impossible—together.

The Adventure Challenge
Think: Amazing Race—Camp Kern style. This large-group activity sends smaller teams across our 485-acre property to solve mental and physical challenges, collect points, and compete for the win. Ideal for corporate outings that combine fun, competition, and big-picture takeaways like leadership and collaboration.

Accommodations
Enjoy year-round, village-style lodging with over 500 beds, offering comfort, community, and convenience for your entire group.

Meeting Spaces
From rustic lodges to modern halls, our flexible meeting spaces are perfect for workshops, team-building, and group sessions.
