Experience the beauty of Camp Kern like never before—from the back of a horse! Circle K Ranch offers guided group trail rides in early spring, fall, and winter, giving you a scenic tour of our wooded trails and rolling hills
Trail Ride Options & Pricing
All trail rides last about one hour and are led by friendly, experienced staff using safe, well-trained horses. Advance booking is required (at least two weeks recommended).
Standard Trail or Pony Ride
Ages: Trail Ride (8+), Pony Ride (Kindergarten–7 years) (Anyone under the age of 8 will need an adult willing to guide the horse)
Cost: $57 booking fee + $312 flat rate for first 8 riders
Additional Riders: $40 per rider (up to 10 total)
Pony rides require an adult to walk and lead each pony
Birthday Party Experience
Cost: $57 booking fee + $307 flat rate for first 8 riders
Additional Riders: $40 per rider
Format:
Ages under 8: Indoor pony party with lead rides
Ages 8+: Outdoor trail ride (weather permitting)
Girl Scout Troop Ride
Cost: $57 booking fee + $250 for first 8 riders
Additional Riders: $31 per rider (up to 10 total)
Add-on: Badge work available for $12 per participant
Please provide your troop number and council at booking
Rules & Conditions
A 50% deposit is required when making your reservation. This is refundable up until 2 weeks prior to your trail ride.
Long pants and closed toed shoes are required for trail ride participation.
Outdoor trail rides are weather permitting and may be moved to an indoor riding arena if conditions are poor for the safety of guests, staff, and our horses.
All trail riders must be at least kindergarten-age and must weigh less than 250lbs. Please call if you have a rider above the 250lb limit, as we may be able to accommodate them depending on horse availability.
Riders aged Kindergarten - 7 years old must have a responsible adult to lead the horse or pony while walking on the trail.
Required Liability Waivers for Camp Activities
