At YMCA Camp Kern, we’ve been building friendships, confidence, and lifelong memories for more than 115 years. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we depend on the generosity of alumni, families, and friends to ensure camp remains accessible to ALL children.
Annual Scholarship Campaign
We believe every child deserves the chance to experience summer camp. Through our Annual Scholarship Campaign, we raise funds to send hundreds of kids to camp each year. 100% of donations go directly to financial assistance for campers, and your gift helps us reach our 2025 goal of $115,000.
Planned Giving – Join the Heritage Club
One of the most meaningful ways to leave a legacy is through planned giving. By joining the Camp Kern Heritage Club, your support will continue to inspire campers for generations to come. Options include: Bequests by Will, Life Insurance Gifts, Retirement Plan Assets, and Property Donations.
In-Kind Donations & Amazon Wish Lists
Not all gifts come in an envelope. Camp Kern gladly accepts in-kind donations to keep programs running smoothly. Current Wish list needs include: Lumber & Power Tools, Cars, Trucks, Golf Carts, Gators, or Tractors, Horses for trail rides and lessons, Flat Sheets & Camp-appropriate Booksm, Furniture (bed frames, closets, drawers, etc.), and Sand & Outdoor Supplies.
