What is the Camp Kern Camper Referral Program?

The YMCA Camp Kern Camper Referral Program rewards families for sharing the camp experience with friends. Returning campers who refer a new camper earn $100 off camp for each registered referral, and new campers receive a $15 camp store credit when they sign up. It’s a simple, rewarding way to grow the Camp Kern community and help more kids experience adventure, friendship, and summer fun.

Returning Campers

Returning Camper (Ambassador):

  • Earn $100 off camp per referral

  • Plus, ambassadors receive a shirt to wear at the parent program

New Campers

New Camper (Prospect):

  • Earn $15 camp store credit (delivered via the registration flow / email)

How to Get Started

Step 1: Become a Camp Kern Ambassador

Create your Ambassador account through CampTree, and you’ll receive an email confirming you’re enrolled and giving you a unique referral link to share by text, email, Facebook, and more.

Step 2: Share Your Link with a New Camp Family

Send your unique referral link to a friend who is new to Camp Kern. When they click your link, CampTree will connect their registration to you automatically.

 

Step 3: New Campers Claim Their $15 Credit

Your friend will enter their information on the referral page, complete their registration, and both you and your new camp friend will recieve your reward!

Step 4: Ambassadors Claim their $100 Reward

After your friend registers for a Camp Kern summer program, you recieve $100 off a week of Camp Kern programming in 2026!
