Monsters, Quests, and a Destiny Written by the Gods
At Percy Jackson Camp, campers discover their heroic potential through daily quests, mythic challenges, and intense training worthy of Camp Halfblood’s next great champions.
At Percy Jackson Camp, every activity becomes part of the adventure. Campers are not just climbing, canoeing, or competing in games—they are completing quests, searching for pieces of the Golden Fleece, and preparing to defend camp from monster attacks.
Throughout the week, campers will participate in classic Camp Kern activities such as swimming, archery, climbing, ziplining, canoeing, and outdoor games. Each activity is woven into the camp storyline, making the experience feel exciting, imaginative, and connected from start to finish.
Campers will also create their own light foam sword and practice friendly dueling skills as part of their demigod training. The week includes an epic game of capture the flag, where teamwork, strategy, and bravery are put to the test.
A Creative Overnight Camp for Imaginative Campers
Percy Jackson Summer Camp is a great fit for campers who love storytelling, mythology, fantasy adventures, and imaginative play. This camp includes a good amount of walking as campers travel across YMCA Camp Kern for quests and activities, so it is best for campers who are ready for an active week outdoors.
Campers stay in Camp Kern’s yurts, which include heating, air conditioning, and 12 bunk beds. These comfortable overnight spaces help campers build friendships, share stories, and feel like part of their own heroic cabin community.
To celebrate a successful quest and the protection of camp, the week ends with a blue foods party inspired by the world of Percy Jackson. It is a fun and memorable way for campers to wrap up their adventure, celebrate their accomplishments, and enjoy the friendships they built along the way.
What Campers Can Expect
Percy Jackson Summer Camp includes immersive quests, character development, daily swimming, archery, climbing, ziplining, canoeing, foam sword making, friendly dueling practice, capture the flag, and a celebratory blue foods party. Campers will spend the week working together, using their imaginations, and building confidence through outdoor adventure.
For campers who love Percy Jackson, Greek mythology, fantasy stories, and action-packed camp experiences, this overnight summer camp is a chance to become the hero of their own story.
