Horse Programs
Circle K Ranch is home to our Equestrian Center at YMCA Camp Kern and, more importantly, is home to our herd of 60 wonderful horses that bring joy to thousands of campers and guests every year. A core part of Circle K Ranch’s offering is our residential Horse Summer Camp program which gives hundreds of campers a horse focused, meaningful summer camp experience. Outside of our summer camp, we offer a whole range of Equine options, listed below.

Horse Camps
Spend a week (or more) at Circle K Ranch at one of our summer camp programs designed to improve horsemanship, build a bond between campers and horses, and learn the day to day care of horses...as well as getting the chance to enjoy all the fun of a summer camp experience (swimming, archery, camp outs, smore's, friendships and more!). We are also beginning to offer seasonal day camps and weekend events in the spring, fall, and winter.
Boarding
With 14 box stalls, 3 outdoor riding arenas, 1 indoor riding arena, and plenty of large grass turnout areas, Circle K Ranch is a great place to keep your equine friend. To learn more about our board options and services, follow the link below!
Riding Lessons
Our lesson program at Camp Kern offers riding lessons for equestrians ages 8 years old through adults. Riders of all experience levels can learn to ride with our knowledgeable and fun riding instructors. We offer weekly lessons in Western, English, Jumping, and Dressage.
Trail Rides
Join us at Camp Kern for an exciting trail ride adventure! Riders aged 4 through adults can visit Camp for a fun and relaxing horse ride through the woods and trails around camp. Learn about camp and horses, interact with our engaging trail guides, and meet some of our fun four-legged friends!
Birthday Parties
Bring your group to celebrate their special day with us at Circle K Ranch! Bring along some friends to enjoy a trail or pony ride, participate in some hands-on pony pampering, and learn more about horses!
